This newsletter, conceived to give a glimpse of the many and varied projects conducted by the French research centres in India, circulated for several years as a "dead-tree" newsletter, then as a large PDF file. After a pause for reflection in 2016, we decided to relaunch it in a more convenient online format as a biannual newsletter. Tirunallaru Sri Dharbbaranyeswara Temple Inscriptions - Text Photos with transcriptions with Introduction

This book contains all the photos of all the Tamil inscriptions found on the walls of the temple of Sri Dharbbaranyeswara Temple at Tirunallaru, Karaikal District, Puducherry State and their transcription in Tamil. These are given side-by-side so that anybody can compare the originals with the transcriptions. All the inscriptions are given chronologically based on the references to the kings. In the introduction, a detailed description of the information found in the texts under the heads: political geography, names of the temple and the changes, governing body of the temple, rituals and festivals conducted in the temple, donations made by the kings and other patrons.
