The EHESS Summer School in Pondicherry

Objectives
The Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and the French Institute of Pondicherry propose a series of intensive seminars and ateliers on the theme of health, in India and beyond. Issues of public health, pharmaceuticals, bioethics, medical practices and institutions will be explored by a group of French and Indian professors. The « Summer School » is directed to a limited number of selected Indian and European students and junior researchers. The aim of the Summer School is to strengthen Franco-Indian scientific cooperation and to prepare the ground for future collaboration.
