The French Institute of Pondicherry (FIP) publishes scientific books, articles, maps and CDs in the fields of Indology, Ecology and Social sciences.
Ordering information
The publications can be purchased on spot, at the French Institute premises. They can also be ordered at the following address:

Discounts
The following discounts are offered to all those ordering from the FIP:
- 25% to distributors & booksellers (trade discount).
- 10 % to all other clients.
Ordering procedure
- The order should be forwarded by e-mail to library@ifpindia.org or by post to the above address.
- Please do not send payment directly with the order form. On receipt of your order, a proforma invoice, including postage charges, will be sent to you by e-mail (or by post if required). The payment will have to be carried out on the basis of the proforma. The ordered documents will be sent on receipt of the payment.
- For those ordering from outside India: Euro rates will be applicable. The mode of transport (air mail or sea mail) must be specified in the order. Airmail delivery time: 15-30 days. Surface mail delivery time: 2 to 4 months.
Modalities for payment
In India
- Payments will have to be carried out in advance by Demand Draft (in the name of “French Institute of Pondicherry” and payable at Pondicherry) or Money Order to the above address.
From outside India
- Payments will have to be carried out in advance:
by cheque in euros in the name of "Institut Français de Pondichéry" and mailed to the above-mentioned address, or,
by wire transfer (the bank details of the FIP will be supplied on request).
