Position for research fellow in Landscape Ecology

We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral research fellow in forest landscape ecology, particularly to conduct spatial studies on forest fire patterns and its impacts on ecosystem and, in general, to participate in ongoing programs like ‘species distribution prediction models’ for the Western Ghats.

Applicants should have Ph.D. in Botany / Ecology and substantial training / experience in GIS (ArcGIS) and Remote sensing (ERDAS). In addition, other basic knowledge in computer and proficiency in English (particularly to write reports and scientific papers) are required.
