A two-day workshop co-organized by the International Labour Organisation, with the collaboration of the FIP, was held in Sohna, Haryana on February 19 and 20, 2009. This workshop, which brought together academics, practitioners, trade unions and policy makers, had as an objective to share knowledge and to stimulate complementary action from and between different actors in order to determine the way forward in fighting debt bondage.
