Indo-French Round Table "Water management in rural south india and sri lank"

To assemble French, Indian and Sri Lankan experts in water issues, was to identify emerging themes and critical issues concerning water management especially in rural area through social sciences approaches. This meeting intended to explore and develop an Indo-French cooperation and Sri Lankan-French cooperation on water management in a regional scale.

All participants/speakers of this Round Table meeting were requested to present/discuss the key issues in the rural water sector of South India and Sri Lanka. The participants also briefly mentioned their own research activities/agenda to water resources. The focus of the present Round Table meeting was on the present scenario of water in South India and Sri Lanka with an historical perspective
