Assessment of mangrove degradation and resilience in the Indian sub-continent

The Final workshop of the European-funded Mangrove project entitled "Assessment of mangrove degradation and resilience in the Indian sub-continent: The cases of Godavari estuary and southwest Sri Lanka" was held at IFP from 23rd to 25th October 2002. About 20 researchers from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium, Katolieke Universiteit Nijmegen, The Netherlands, Stockholm University, Sweden, Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh and Ruhuna University, Sri Lanka, have participated in the workshop. The workshop was attended by several other renowned researchers working in related fields and also by students.
