Staff

The staff in place at IFP comprises of around 80 researchers, engineers, technicians and service staff. Two thirds amongst them are assigned with research projects of the Institute; the other third is allocated to service and administrative tasks. A part of this staff is contractualised in the framework of projects financed through external resources.

A part or the whole of IFP’s projects are conducted with partners. The associated personnel (researchers and/or research assistants) are affiliated to institutions from France, India, Europe and South and South-East Asia.

Besides the staff assigned to IFP and/or remunerated by it, the Institute thus receives each year, for variable durations, doctorates and post doctorates and trainees from its partner Institutions.
