The IFP is next to the Consulate General of France and the Chief Secretariat of the Government of Pondicherry.
The main bus terminus from the Institute is about 4kms. Autorickshaws and cycle rickshaws are transport means to get to the IFP (see also Pondicherry).
Timings
Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12.30 hrs and from 14.00 to 17:30 hrs
Accommodation facility
The Institute has an accommodation facility (4 rooms with air conditioner, access to internet,…), in its campus for Researchers and Students who are short term guests. The reservations need to be done in advance to the Secretary General (rights of admission and eligibility is reserved by the decision of the Director).
