The IFP and EFEO strengthen their ties
Home > News
The Directors of the IFP and the Ecole Française d’Extrême Orient (EFEO) had signed in July 2004 a general agreement of cooperation. This agreement stressed the common desire of both establishments to systematically look for collaborations in the field of indology, and defined the forms that this collaboration could take. What was now needed was to make it a reality through specific conventions.
The IFP and EFEO signed four conventions during these past few months:
- Research project on «Paninian Grammar through its Examples»
- Project of cataloguing of manuscripts on palm leaves
- Project of co-edition and co-diffusion of scientific publications (« Indology » collection)
- Project of publication on the WEB of a catalogue and of images of transcripts from the IFP
