The Director of the IFP, member of the Executive Committee of the "National Knowledge Commission" of the Government of Pondicherry

The Director of the IFP, Dr. Jean-Pierre Muller, has accepted the “Chief Secretariat’s” request to participate, as a member, in the Executive Committee of the "National Knowledge Commission" of the Government of Pondicherry.
This committee will be assigned to propose procedures for implementing the recommendations of the Commission with regards to education (syllabus, access to university level education, development of the infrastructures, etc.)
By means of this nomination, the Government of Pondicherry has made clear its wish to reinforce the cultural ties between France and Pondicherry ("French education and culture is an inseparable part of Puducherry Union Territory") and to develop the teaching of French.
